This year Janáček’s May offers 19 evening concerts and a rich accompanying program that includes performances of world stars and leading European symphonic and chamber orchestras, ensembles, and soloists from among others  Finland, Israel, and the Czech Republic.  The program includes the opening concert with the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra with the German conductor Michael Sanderling, and Czech violin virtuoso, Ivan Ženatý.
